Type holds up as a highly significant differentiating variable in all groups far beyond the 99% level of confidence. Furthermore, all groups tested have consistent frequency of occurrence of each Type.

• Frequency distributions and Z-Tests done on Type across the Human Design Basic Solar Design Chart (SDC), Solar Sleep Design Chart (SSD), and Lunar Sleep Design Chart (LSDC) verify that Type holds as a valid and reliable construct across the Triple Design Matrix (TDM). Using this matrix expands the dimensionality of Type. It enhances the efficacy of working with Type in both clinical and general populations, and it is based on a strong scientific foundation. (This work represents early validation of the sleep design validity, but has subsequently been significantly expanded into the Multidimensional work.)

• Analysis of Definition Type in the Basic Solar Human Design shows that Type can be subdivided into different classifications, i.e., no definition, single definition, split definition, triple split definition, or quadruple split definition. All groups differentiated from each other as significant divisions of definition except the quadruple and the non-defined Types.

• Profile is a structural phenomenon of Human Design System Calculation and represents a confirmation of the structural integrity of the System itself. It shows a regular frequency of occurrence in the general population with all Foundation Profiles having consistent frequencies and all Changing Profiles having consistent frequencies across all Hexagram Lines.

Areas of Research and Application

Multidimensional Biology

Charts of the prenatal, natal, and postnatal designs of an individual are possible. While conception charts are still rare, those we have studied show great potential in the determination of prenatal influences and show the underlying biology/physiology of an individual. This information is currently being used in the following areas:

• Multidimensional Medicine and Physiology uses the knowledge of an individual’s body graphs to help determine areas of medical vulnerability and the application, use and timing of medicine for healing. Multidimensional Medicine applies allopathic, homeopathic, and herbal modalities since it is a way of determining an individual’s mechanical receptivity to various modalities rather than evaluating them. The basic structure of the genetics of an individual is shown in their design. Biological circuitry gives deep insight into the health functions of an individual. With the Multidimensional layers it is possible to access the hormonal activations during the 24-hour cycle and thus work with the timing mechanisms in the body. The Multidimensional Biology Body Graph with its biological circuits is used in Multidimensional Medicine in an integrated way with an individual’s other Design related energy Matrices. In the illustration you can view the kinds of biological functions that are mapped in Basic Solar Biology Body Graph. From this illustration, you can have some idea about the application and use in Multidimensional Medicine and Health. By using both the natal, prenatal, and postnatal calculations we can see the influences and interplay of the environment on the genetics of an individual. Eventually, we are going to be able to document the triggers to physiological components of health and functioning biologically as we already can psychologically through the Multidimensional Layers of design.

• Multidimensional Anatomy and Embryology shows the actual infrastructure of an individual’s biological nature. It maps the relationship of specific gates and lines to genetically based physical and environmental influences. This knowledge is available and is under study and being documented. Ten stages of fetal evolution from Conception through the completion of the first trimester of pregnancy are known. With increasing numbers of people who know the time of conception of their child, we are accumulating case material that is documenting this map. You can see the way the organ systems emerge in the fetus in the Multidimensional Embryology Design. By using the postnatal calculations along with the prenatal and natal ones, we can see the early developmental interplay of genetics with environment in a person's early experiences.

Multidimensional Psychology

The Basic Solar Body Graph also called the Waking Design Chart (WDC) shows the genetic predisposition of an individual and what that individual can trust because it is Defined in them as compared to what is open to experiences in life and with other people. In addition, we now have validated that the Multidimensional Design Matrix (MDM) shows how an individual changes with changes in their state of consciousness, i.e., when they meditate or sleep or otherwise alter their consciousness. By analyzing the MDM or the interactions of an individual through their composite designs, knowledge can be disseminated and internalized so an individual can live true to their natural energy. Living as one is designed to live results in good health.

• The Multidimensional Design Matrix is considered at Unified Life Sciences to be the basic essential for an individual to know in their own mechanical design. It shows them how they naturally cycle through different shifts in consciousness in the course of a 24-hour day during wakefulness and sleep. It is necessary for every mammal to sleep and to dream. In this necessary process, a very important feedback system is set up psychologically and chemically in the brain of an individual. This feedback system affects a person behaviorally as well as physiologically. We can now read this basic mechanical change as it occurs in an individual each day. It provides very important information about Type and about Strategy for living a healthy and fulfilled life. It is simple enough for a child to understand as well as being very useful.
  
  The Multidimensional Design Matrix work grew out of work with Sleep Designs, both Solar and Lunar. The Sleep Designs utilize information from our mammalian design and thus relates to our interactions with animals as well. The Sleep Design Matrix is a 15-Gate instead of a 64-Gate Matrix. During the Rapid Eye Movement (REM) stage of sleep, there is an integrated multidimensional interaction of Matrices that act as feedback mechanisms programming our brains and body chemistry to work effectively. At this stage, our foundational work is still a work in progress expanding rapidly. As we learn more about the Multidimensional Layers of the Matrices, we are applying the knowledge to biological correlates, psychological correlates, alchemical correlates and analysis, as well as to other areas. At this point, we have a reliable verifiable functional map of human consciousness and of the psychological functioning of an individual.

• Multidimensional Family Analysis utilizes the family system as a unit in interaction. It analyzes related design configurations with their mutual influences. By working with the way the Channels of Energy move in the Multidimensional Design Matrix for all the family members being studied, it is possible to map the communication patterns as well as the interplay of factors on any particular individual at any point in time. Since we know that living who you are is the purpose of being, parents who have knowledge of their child’s design, especially of the postnatal developmental conditioning fields in the critical first three months of life, can help that child become fully realized from birth. In addition, armed with this knowledge, the interpersonal conflicts that so often fill daily life dissolve because they are understood to be mechanical energetic configurations rather than personal, content related issues.
  
  
• Multidimensional Organizational Analysis allows people in organizations to know the effects of their own design on others and vice versa. It gives support to groups of individuals functioning in their strengths rather than being asked to live and function in their vulnerabilities. Through working with the Multidimensional Design Matrix and beyond, this work enhances the collective nature of organizations as well as providing an understanding into its dynamics.
  
  
• Multidimensional Business helps businesses determine who and how to organize their resources for optimal function allowing a natural progression for maximization of manpower and resources. Classes teach managers to use Design knowledge in allocating tasks and in building balanced group organizations based on individual and collective synergy.

Mammalian Design System

Humans and mammals have a history as old as the species themselves. Understanding the differences in form between humans and mammals is part of design work. With the development of the work on the Multidimensional Design Matrix an additional Mammalian Matrix calculation became apparent. As we study this matrix, increased awareness of the interactive components and dependence of humans and mammals becomes apparent also. In the Sleep Designs of humans are three Portal Gates or Bridge Gates that allow for enhanced interactions with other mammals, e.g., dogs, cats, horses, etc. We apply this knowledge to enhancing the relationships between humans and other mammals as well as beginning to apply the knowledge to veterinary medicine. When humans interact with Mammals they have access in their human waking state to images and archetypal knowing that otherwise is only accessible to them during deep sleep states. On the other side of the equation, mammals who interact with humans have access to the cognitive and language functions of humans that they otherwise cannot access. The mutual relationship benefits and expansion of consciousness changes both species in significant ways.

Participation

Ongoing research into the value and documentation of design and its application to health, medical care, communication, and life are under way.

We are forming research groups for: parents, exercise oriented people, eating and weight issues, Fibromyalgia, asthma and allergy, sleep disturbances, as well as other areas. Participation can be in person or by contributing your birth data (date of birth, time of birth, place of birth) and by answering a few questions.
